This event highlights how AI can uplift multilingual communities, reduce barriers, and promote inclusive access to information.

Meet the Workshop Facilitators

Antonio Garcia

Ceres Unified School District

Instructional Coach specializing in educational technology, AI integration, and student-centered learning. With a background in dual language education, he supports educators in creating engaging, transformative learning experiences.

AI for Language Justice: Strengthening Communication with Multilingual Families and Communities

Educators, staff, students, and community members often struggle to communicate effectively across languages. This session explores how AI tools can support translation, simplify complex language, and improve access to information while addressing ethical considerations.

Elizabeth Cisneros

Spanish, UC Merced

First-generation college graduate and educator with nearly 20 years of experience teaching Spanish. She focuses on cultural awareness, social justice, and making learning meaningful and engaging.

AI as a Tool in the Classroom

This session explores how ChatGPT and AI tools support educators with lesson planning, assessment, and feedback. Participants will learn ethical uses and practical strategies to confidently integrate AI into their classrooms.

Educational leader and consultant focused on equity, multilingual education, and community engagement. She has held leadership roles across district, county, and state levels.
